While both treatments use your own blood, PRF is considered the "next generation" of hair restoration. PRP is spun at high speeds and requires chemical anticoagulants to prevent clotting. PRF is spun at a lower speed, preserving a higher concentration of white blood cells, stem cells, and fibrin. Because PRF contains no additives and forms a natural fibrin "scaffold," it releases growth factors slowly over 7–10 days, whereas PRP releases them all at once. This sustained release typically leads to more robust and longer-lasting results.

Most patients describe the sensation as a series of quick, manageable pinpricks. To ensure your comfort, we can apply a topical numbing cream to the scalp before the injections.
